How our free casino games work

Free forever, no real money, and provably fair — here's exactly how it works.

Free forever — 18+

The Casino Arcade is a set of free, social casino-style games — Hi-Lo today, with Blackjack and European Roulette coming soon. They're built for fun and for the same kind of probability practice as our percentage and random number calculators, not for gambling. There is no purchase path anywhere in these games, now or planned. You must be 18 or older to play.

Chips are worthless — literally

The chips you play with have no monetary value whatsoever. They:

  • Cannot be bought with real money — there is no deposit option.
  • Cannot be cashed out, redeemed, or exchanged for money, gift cards, or prizes.
  • Cannot be transferred to another person or account.
  • Exist only to make the games fun to play — think of them as a score, not a currency.

Daily free chip refill

Your chip balance tops up automatically once every calendar day — you never need to pay to keep playing. Playing on consecutive days grows a small streak bonus on top of the base refill, and a bust-protection floor guarantees you always have enough chips to keep playing even after a rough run.

Provably fair — verify every round yourself

Every round is generated using a provably-fair scheme so you never have to just trust us:

  • Before the round:we generate a secret random "server seed" and show you its SHA-256 hash. That commits us to the outcome in advance — the hash can't be changed after the fact without it no longer matching.
  • During the round: the actual result (a card, a dice roll, a wheel spin) is derived from an HMAC-SHA256 of that server seed combined with a client seed and a round counter — deterministic, but unknown to anyone before the seed is revealed.
  • After the round:we reveal the server seed. You (or any tool) can recompute its SHA-256 hash and confirm it matches the hash shown before play started — proof the outcome wasn't altered after the fact.

House edge & RTP — published, not hidden

Every game publishes its approximate house edge (the long-run mathematical advantage built into its payout table, the same math real casinos use) right on its page. Because chips have no value, this doesn't cost you anything real — we publish it purely for transparency, so the odds behind each game are never a mystery.

Play responsibly

Even without real money at stake, we want these games to stay fun. If a game ever stops feeling fun, take a break — your chips (and your daily refill) will be waiting whenever you come back. These games are not intended to simulate or encourage real-money gambling; if you or someone you know struggles with gambling, resources like the National Council on Problem Gambling are available 24/7.

Frequently asked questions

Is this real gambling? Can I win real money?+

No. Every game in the Casino Arcade uses free play chips only. There is no way to deposit real money, no way to purchase chips, and no way to cash chips out for money, prizes, or anything of value. It's for entertainment only.

What happens if I run out of chips?+

Your chip balance refills automatically once every calendar day, with a bonus for playing on consecutive days. You can never be permanently locked out — a bust-protection floor guarantees a minimum balance after every refill.

How do I know the games aren't rigged?+

Every round uses a provably-fair system: we generate a secret server seed and show you its SHA-256 hash before the round starts, so the outcome is committed in advance and can't be changed. After the round we reveal the seed so you can independently verify it matches the hash we showed you.

What is house edge, and why does it exist on a free game?+

House edge is the small mathematical advantage built into a casino game's payout table — it's the same math real casinos use. We publish it for every game so the odds are transparent, even though nothing here has real value.
