Does my guess have to equal the target?+
Yes. Every guess must be a mathematically valid calculation whose result is exactly the target number. That's your biggest clue!
Does order of operations matter?+
Yes — multiplication and division are evaluated before addition and subtraction, just like in normal math. 2+3×4 is 14, not 20.
